I could really use some friendly support right now, and so could the rest of my family.
Today my mother and I put down our cat Casimir. I’ve had him in my life since I was two years old. He was fourteen years old and had lymphoma and heart disease. His lungs were full of fluid and he had arthritis and dementia. He also was the sweetest cat I have ever come across. He was friendly and loving and adorable and I loved him with all my heart.
I have two things to ask you all for, and that is support and inspiration. I promised Cas that I would finally write a story and finish it, and it’s going to be about him. Every story I remember. Every memory be it sad, happy, or infuriating. I need you guys to remind me when I’m feeling bad that I had this wonderful creature in my life and that I need to keep writing because I promised him that I would. Thank you guys, so much.
Rest In Peace Casimir. I miss you and I will always love you.
